The NBBA Executive has decided to call off regular basketball programming for the 2020-21 season. With the worsening and uncertainty of the Covid-19 situation and the unlikelihood of securing OCSB or OCDSB gyms, we will not be able to have club teams, practices, and league games.

We are, however, prepared to re-look at our plan to offer in-person training sessions to club members if Redeemer Christian School and the Nepean Sportsplex become available when public health restrictions are relaxed.

The NBBA will also continue to offer the Virtual CANAM Athletic Training Sessions on Wednesdays and the NBBA Virtual Basketball Training Sessions on Saturday mornings until further notice. Weekly email reminders will be sent out for these sessions. We encourage all members to take part as often as they can; not only will it keep basketball skills sharp, exercise is a vital part of our mental health and well-being!

The NBBA will now start to look ahead to summer camp programming, what that will look like is uncertain but we will prepare for any situation whether it be virtual, outdoor or indoor.
