For 2022-23, the NBBA will continue to follow any protocols established by the province, OPH, and local school boards, but currently does not have, or expect to have, a vaccine, mask, or screening mandate in place. We will ask members for their vaccination status, providing a useful comparison with the general population. Members are also encouraged to do a self-screening before participating in basketball, using the TeamSnap Health Check or the provincial School Screening.

As Ottawa tackles yet another wave of Covid, the NBBA strongly encourages members to get all the vaccine doses that they are eligible for, to stay home when they are not well, and to consider that wearing a mask for basketball remains an option.
