Novice Competitive Tryouts

The Novice Competitive Program is geared towards players (ages 8 and 9) who are interested in playing competitive basketball at the Atom level, and usually have played at least one year of Novice Development basketball or are above-average athletes.  

  • Participating in the Novice Competitive Program requires a high level of commitment from both the parents and players.
  • The players will have 3 to 4 hours of practice sessions each week as well a league game every other week on Saturday mornings.
  • Throughout the year, teams participate in games and tournaments against Novice teams from other EOBA clubs.

Monday, September 28 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm St. Andrew School (201 Crestway Drive)
Thursday, October 1 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (41 Weybridge Drive) 
  • Players will be assessed for commitment, interest, maturity, basketball skills and athletic ability. 
  • Coaches can select up to 15 players, and refer any remaining players to the other programs.
