The Nepean Blue Devils Basketball Association (NBBA) is one of Ottawa's largest community basketball organizations, providing year-round basketball opportunities for boys and girls ages 6 to 19. As a not-for-profit organization, we are committed to creating positive, inclusive, and high-quality basketball experiences that inspire athletes to develop confidence, character, and a lifelong love of the game.
Whether an athlete is picking up a basketball for the first time or striving to compete at the highest levels, NBBA offers programming for every stage of development. Our programs include Intro to Basketball, Development, House League, Competitive Teams, Skills Clinics, Camps, and Coach Development, creating a clear pathway for athletes to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
Founded in 2010 through the amalgamation of the Barrhaven Girls Basketball Association (established in 1994), the Nepean Amateur Basketball Association (established in 1980), and the Nepean Bobcats Boys Basketball Association (established in 1996), NBBA proudly builds on decades of basketball tradition in the Nepean community.
Today, NBBA serves hundreds of athletes each year with the support of dedicated volunteer coaches, officials, board members, and community partners. We believe basketball is more than a game—it's an opportunity to build friendships, develop leadership skills, promote healthy lifestyles, and strengthen our community.
