Summer Camps 2025

Summer Camps:

The Nepean Blue Devils will run 6 evening camps and 1 day camp this summer. We are pleased to announce that the camps will be run, once again, in partnership with Above the Rim Basketball School, which will provide the staff and curriculum. Above the Rim has been providing youth basketball development programs and day camps in the Ottawa area since 1997 and is known for a high-quality coaching staff that is professional and knowledgeable.

Weekly evening camps will be held on Wednesday nights for girls and on Tuesday and Thursday nights for boys. Different skills will be emphasized each week. Time slots will be 6:00 to 7:30 pm for ages 8-10 (born 2015 to 2017) and 7:30 to 9:00 pm for ages 11-13 (born 2012 to 2014). Evening camps will run over a 6-week period starting the week of July 8 and will be held at Ottawa Christian School, 255 Tartan Drive.  

The Registration fee for the 6-week evening camp is $170 and includes a shirt.

The Co-ed Day camp will be held during the week of August 11-15 and will be targeted to experienced players. The morning camp will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for girls and boys ages 12-14 (born 2011 to 2013). Drop off/Open Gym is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. The day camp will be held at Adrienne Clarkson School, 170 Stoneway Drive.

The registration fee for this 5-day camp is $245 and includes a shirt.

Spaces are limited to 30 players for the evening camps and day camp and fill up quickly, so be sure to register early. The registration link is at the bottom of this email.

Summer 3-on-3:

Our weekly 3-on-3 program will be back for another summer at the Minto Recreation Complex, 3500 Cambrian Road - this time with a new league format! Girls will play on Tuesday nights and boys will play on Wednesday nights.

This fast-paced basketball program will be open to U12 to U19 girls and boys and run for 6 weeks starting the week of July 8. Spots are limited to 32 players per age group.

Time slots:

• 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm for U12 (born 2014,2015) and U14 (born 2012, 2013)
• 7:45 to 9:30 pm for U16 (born 2010, 2011) and U19 (born 2007, 2008, 2009) players.

New League Format:

• Each age group will consist of 8 teams of 4 players.
• Every week, 4 games will be played simultaneously across side courts.
• Games will be 8 minutes running time, allowing for fast transitions and multiple games per night.
• Players will participate in a team sort-out session in week 1, after which teams will be finalized.
• The league will include scheduled matchups, standings and playoffs, ending with a championship game in each division.
  
  Registration fee: $125, which includes a reversible Blue Devils jersey. Spots are limited to 32 players per age group.
