The Bluedevils 13U boys have been on a tear, stacking four straight victories across EOBA and OBL play to improve their overall season record to 10-2 and remain a perfect 4-0 in the OBL.
The surge began on November 12 with a strong 49-39 win over Ottawa South. The Bluedevils set the tone early with disciplined defense, active hands, and controlled rebounding. A key second-half run helped them create separation and close out a confident team victory.
A week later, the group headed to Toronto for another OBL weekend and delivered two very different - but equally impressive - wins.
In the opener against the JCC Warriors, the Bluedevils showcased real resilience, battling back from a double-digit deficit and riding a huge third quarter to secure a gritty 52-48 comeback. Their defensive pressure and unselfish play swung the momentum and carried them through the final stretch.
Game two against SBA Premier Team White was all about execution from the opening tip. The Bluedevils exploded to a 16-0 start and never trailed, cruising to a 51-29 win behind sharp ball movement, attacks in transition, and consistent defensive stops. It was one of their cleanest all-around performances of the season.
The team returned to Ottawa the next day and capped the weekend with a 63-41 win over the Shooting Stars. Tough defense, steady offensive flow, and a key third-quarter surge helped the Bluedevils control the game from start to finish and secure their fourth straight victory.
Four games, four wins, and contributions across the entire roster - this team continues to grow together, build confidence, and raise their standard every week.
The Bluedevils now turn their attention to a major test: the Chris Paulin Tournament from November 28-30, where they'll look to carry their momentum into another competitive weekend.
