Hi Parents and Caregivers!

 

We are quickly approaching the end of the first half of the basketball season.  Before we break for the holidays, we have a fun day of festival games scheduled for December 20th.  Please note that several other age groups have festival games that day, and so the U8 games will be at Half Moon Bay School, not Mary Honeywell on December 20th.  The festival will run from 8:30 am - 10:30 am.

 

Each player will play 3 games. The games will be 20 minutes long with a two minute half time. 

 

To make the day extra special for the kids, we are inviting parents to bring snacks to share that the kids can have between games. There will be a snack table that you can leave the snacks on, and the coaches will bring their teams there in between games.  Please no nut products due to allergies.

 

A reminder that everyone (spectators included) need to take their shoes off before entering the gym.  I highly recommend parents, caregivers and siblings also bring a pair of indoor shoes unless you are okay with being in socks while in the gym.

 

Here is the schedule and team breakdown.  Hope you have a great festival day on the 20th.  Note, regular sessions start back again after the holidays on Saturday January 10th (so no sessions on December 27 or January 3).
